Hey everyone

Strolling the streets is one of my favorite things to do while here in Bali. In the capital Denpasar it's very crowded with lots of traffic, don't get me wrong that's what I absolutely love about it!  I really enjoyed the street vibes and the smell of delicious foods everywhere we walked.

On this particular day we went to Seminyak which is the more "upscale" area of Bali. I had heard so much about it and couldn't wait to check this place out.  You can call Seminyak the "Beverly Hills" of this island. Located just north of the main tourist area Kuta, Seminyak is the place to be when it comes to hip and trendy, with the most exclusive clothing stores, amazing restaurants and fabulous beach clubs that made me I feel right at home. We didn't take as many pictures as I had wanted to, but here are a few snaps to get you a little bit of the feel out here.

I kept my outfit pretty casual in muted colors. Something I am gravitating to more and more lately. Colors like: brown white, beige khaki, and even all black have been my favorites this summer. Of course I always accesorize with fun jewelry in either gold or silver and a fun and classic hat can never be left out! Especially in this heat.

Hey everyone

Another post here from beautiful Bali Island

The island of Bali is of course known for it's stunning beaches, but there is also another side of Bali, and that is it's rich culture. One day we decided it was time to go inland and visit Bali's beautiful nature and temples. For a very small price you can hire your own personal driver, who will drive you all day wherever you want to go. The driver will even wait for you while you are exploring. I mean how great is that?  It felt like such pure luxury. Robbie our wonderful driver was just the perfect host, taking us to the most amazing places. We started at the monkey forest and then headed down to the famous Batuan temple and the temple of holy water at Tirta Empul. The Elephant Cave in Ubud, The coffee plantation Satria Angrowisata followed by mountain Butur Volcano and we finished at the Tegalllang rice terraces in Ubud. As you can imagine it was quite the adventurous day with so many things to see and impressions that left my head spinning.  I was coming down with the worst cough, so I wasn't feeling very healthy that day, but all the amazing things that we discovered totally made up for it. We took more then a thousand photos, but of course if I posted all of them you would have to scroll this blog all day long.Which I am sure none of you can find the time for.  Instead I'm leaving you with some memorable moments that I couldn't resist sharing with you.

Hope you enjoy!

Happy Monday

When it comes down to my favorite beach wear, I've always loved pieces that are one of a kind and a bit of an eye catcher. Right here from beautiful Bali, I want to show you a few of my favorites. Like this beach skirt from Hunkemoller from The Sylvie Collection. I instantly fell in love with the black and gold details in the waist and the flowy A-line which is perfect for a cover up when you don't want to stroll around half naked. Bali has been amazing for us and we took these photos at our hotels tropical garden. We have stayed in one of the beach bungalows at the Legian Beach hotel and all I can say is a big wow to this stunning beach resort. Everything is just beyond perfect. the scenery, the wonderful staff and the food is incredible. Legian Beach hotel is located in the heart of Legian, which is a very crowded tourist area, but once inside the resort it feels calm and peaceful. The atmosphere is very cosy and feels like a second home. A huge plus is the fact that it's located right at the ocean.

Right here in Indonesia I feel at home. This is the land of my grandparents. Finally being able to set foot here has been an unforgettable experience. Shooting these photos has been very special to me and all this time I felt like my grandma and granddad were with me. Guiding me in the right direction. I wish they were still here, so I could see their smiles when seeing me do this. Oh how I miss talking to them and I would love to tell them about my adventures here and most of all how much I'm loving it! I could stay here forever.
